great for coloring blonde hair dark brown, 12 Feb. 2012

I have naturally blonde hair and I was dubious that an (almost) non chemical product could color all my hairs dark enough, however despite being a pain to do (it takes an hour just to set) it really worked and my hair was a lovely raven color. The downsides are that it washes out pretty fast - I have to do mine about once every 3 weeks and my color fluctuates between raven, chestnut, and reddish brown with blonde. However this can be an upside depending how you look at it, as I am never stuck with one color waiting for it to grow out and could completely wash it all out in 5 weeks if I wanted to! It also gives the impression of having wonderful and expensive high-lights as it begins to fade, and you can mix it with other non-chemical dyes to give the exact shade you want. I have done this several times mixing with red from my local herbal shop and it gives it a wonderful boost.

I'm allergic to any hair colour this is the only colour I can use. The longer you can leave it on the better the colour. I leave it on for two hrs and I only need to top up about once a month
