Good but expensive, 13 May 2012

The only products I can compare this with have gone off the market now - Schwarzkopf Root Re-touch and Wella Toners and Shaders. Schwarzkopf was an excellent product although expensive at the time and the Wella product was good (and cheap) but added colour and shine to all the hair not just the roots. I haven't tried any of the other root touch up products for sale on Amazon.

Touchback isn't as good as the above products - but costs more! Like everyone else I want a product that is quick and easy to use and gives me a few more weeks on my salon coloured hair. Touchback gives a good coverage and is to easy apply - no mess, but it does leave a slight residue on the treated hair which feels a bit greasy to the touch. I had a reddish brown tint on my hair last time I went to the hairdresser so wasn't sure if the dark brown shade would match. However it mingles in quite well and certainly hides the grey root re-growth.

I think it will work well as a stop gap...

This item works well but found it expensive when there are cheaper versions on the market which are just as good .

found it to be really good saved me time and hassle, i didn't need to keep dying my roots. it covered my without pigment roots (or should I say 'white' ) really well - I never found it running down my face or ruining my hair as I have seen in other reviews. It is quite expensive but it seemed to last forever. I don't use it anymore as I ve changed colour but when I was using it - it worked well for me.
