For years I used a Phillips Lady Shave that my mum handed down to me which she had from the 70s but when we moved it went missing. I then bought a brand name from a local chemist. That worked for a year then just stopped working. I then bought one similar to this and I've had it about 5 years, it's still going strong. My best friend though uses disposables so when I was offered a discount to review this item as long as I gave an honest and unbiased review, I said yes and I'll give it to her to use. It arrived very quickly in a very nice Touch Beauty box which is pink and black and looks like something you would indeed pull off a chemists shelf or indeed a really good budget supermarket brand. No poundland boxes here honestly.
Instructions are a little leaflet inside the box but this is also copied on the outside the box down the side. Very clear and concise.

This little shaver arrived in a smart box with a cleaning brush, comb like cover and an instructions leaflet. The box also has a number of instructions and diagrams on.
The unit does not come with any batteries so you will need to have 2 x AAA batteries to hand.
The first thing I noticed about the unit is just how small it is. I have taken a photograph of it in my hand to illustrate the size. I actually like this as it is so small and light that it is really easy to use.
The first thing I did was to install the batteries - simply slide the white bottom part of the shaver off and the battery compartment is revealed.
The on/off switch is the only operating switch that you need. There are 2 tiny push in buttons on the top sides that released the head to make for easier cleaning.
I decided to try both wet and dry shaving.
To be totally honest I think my leg shaved a little better being damp than dry but both were pretty...

Great compact wet or dry cordless shaver.
I hate shaving my legs and wanted something like this to use on a daily basis so it didnt take too long.
It requires 2 AAA batteries, which are not included, and are simple inserted into the bottom once the base it pulled off.
Push the switch up and start shaving. Really gentle, yet very effective. I was surprised how effective it was, considering the size of it. I used it dry first and found it brilliant. Next day I used it wet, another great shave, but I think I prefer the dry shave. My leg hair is quite fine and doing it daily, there isnt that much to get rid of, so I cannot comment on how it would cope with a full leg of thick hair.
Easy to clean, press the 2 little latch buttons on either side of the shaver, and pull. Rinse under water, you also get a little brush which is good for giving it a quick clean.
Overall a great little shaver, compact, so great for taking on...
