I bought one of these for myself earlier this year and it's perfect for any length of hair (especially long) I'd also recommend it for young girls as it doesn't pull your hair at all yet still get's all the knots out! I also own a compact version for when travelling which comes with a cover for the bristles, although smaller it works just the same :)I bought this one as a Christmas present for my boyfriends sister as she is always complaining about ripping her hair outWill definitely be buying again when my own breaks or becomes unusable

Tackles even long, thick hair., 29 May 2014
I was unsure about this brush as it seems so different to other hair brushes, but it is everything it cracked up to be. I have thick hair that reaches halfway down my back, and have no problem getting the copious amounts of knots out.It can be gentle if you use it that way, or if you are in a hurry you can get rid of knots quickly by brushing harder. It does not hurt my hand an is a good shape to hold (I am right handed). The bristles are short in comparison to my old brush, and I find that I have to brush the underside of my hair as well as the outside (if this makes sense!), which I didn't necessarily have to do before.This may be a placebo effect, but I do feel that my hair looks better after brushing it with the Tangle Teezer, even if I haven't washed it the same day.If you're concerned about static, it can build up a little if you're using this brush without any hair products.

Dye coming off the brush!, 8 Dec. 2015
I only received this yesterday, and there is orange dye coming off the yellow half of the brush. Hard to get a photo of, but not impressed for the price paid for it!
