These are perfect for dogs - especially dogs that hate brushing. Because the prongs bend when hitting a tangle, the fur doesn't get pulled and so even though it takes a few passes, the tangles come out and the fur gets straightened but it doesn't hurt the hound. Ours falls asleep during the brush now as did our previous one. I usually give her a good brushing with this and then follow up with a comb to finish off. In the before and after pictures below which took about 40 seconds to do, it includes brushing her face too and she never moved as it's almost just like stroking her.I've tried those metal pronged brushes which they all hate as they scratch and pull the fur and also a bristle brush which doesn't really get past the top layer of fur. These teezers are miles better.

One of the best de-tangling brushes I've used., 13 Mar. 2016

I have been after a Tangle Teezer hairbrush for sometime and couldn't wait to get my hands on it once i had placed the order. Their prestige does not fault them! The brush leaves my hair knot free

instantaneously. Even if brushing went from the shower it does well at avoiding pulling out knots of my hair and working through them instead. I would say this product is perfect for people of all ages especially children who find having their hair brushed sore!!

If used by brushing from ends to root i find my hair can remain knot free for a significant amount of time without fear of tangle sand soreness later.

The brush comes in so many great colors - i chose the original pink as i thought it would easy to spot at the bottom of my handbag.

I find that not much hair collects in the brush either suggesting it is a lot better than a conventional hairbrush at preventing breakages in my hair!

I would say that the Tangle Teezer is an investment worth making if you suffer...

brilliant. I have myself an afro, 22 Jan. 2016

I have had this brush for quite some time now and still have only just managed to write a review for it. I only really have a few things to say about it because it's... Well, brilliant. I have myself an afro, which yes, is natural. So every single day I need to comb through it and if I were to do this with a normal brush or comb my hair would just look really frizzy and silly. More to the point though they would not de-tangle my hair.

This is an amazing brush! When I went to get my hair cut at the hairdressers, the hairdresser recommended that I bought this product brush as it is what she uses when washing my hair and when she used it for the first time, the first thing I noticed was that it really doesn't pull your hair at the tangles and it de-tangles my hair without much or any pain at all. I purchased this version only to realise that there is a newer version of it out with a better design and a handle.
