This hairbrush came to my notice in a re-run of a certain TV programme, where four know-it-all business magnates declined to invest in the maker and his product. Along with the many positive reviews, I read a few negative ones before receiving this hairbrush, but I have to say, their objections hold no water with me.

I have thick, dry, wavy/frizzy, waist-length hair, and it's always been a struggle to brush it through; some hair would always get pulled out from the root, and some hairs would break. I'd have to hold on with my free hand to take the tension off my hair and scalp as I brushed. Using the Tangle Teezer Aqua, I can brush through more quickly, with one hand, with no discomfort whatsoever, and with noticably less hair loss/damage, wet or dry.

It may be (though I don't know) that the brush won't last as long as some 60s-era brushes from more prestigious brands (that seems to be a regrettable fact of life with so many consumer goods); then again, it is a...

The perfect design, 18 Oct. 2012

Prior to purchasing this I was using the original Tangle Teezer both wet and dry (to brush my hair and also to comb conditioner through) and it was starting to get worn and often wasn't dry when I wanted to use it. I also found the design of the original difficult to keep hold of in the shower and would frequently drop it. This has all the benefits of the original but is much easier to hold, quicker to dry as the water drains off it easily and it's much easier to untangle my knotty hair. Try it!

I always wanted a Tangle Teezer, the original one looked nice but I didn't like that there wasn't a handle. When I found out about this Aqua Splash model I didn't really understand it, but now that I've tried it I couldn't love it more!

My worries before ordering one were how to grab it, as it might look big and slippery, but it turns out it isn't. My medium sized hands grab it easily and the elongated shape brushes my whole head of hair in very few strokes. The teeth have two different lengths and the logest ones gently massage your scalp if your hair is not very thick.

Wet hands are no problem either (maybe consider gettin rid of thick conditioner from you palms before grabbing it ;D)

The hollowness of it is brilliant too. On a flat surface it becomes a toothbrush holder, when you're travelling and you can hang it very easily over shampoo bottles on a tiny shower shelf. You can dry it super fast.
