Brilliant! Take your time, use a proper shaving mug that holds hot water with a mixing bowl on top, and you get a wonderful creamy lather that works well, and leaves your skin feeling and smelling fantastic. Will definitely order again.

fit for purpose - recommended, 30 Sept. 2014
It fits the wooden bowl nicely and after a couple of days of shaving, it binds to the bowl and so does not move as you work up a lather. I expect it to last 18 months or so. Which will mean the wooden bowl would then be 3 years old. It remains to be seen how long the bowl will last and whether I can just replace the soap or have to start again with a new shaving soap bowl. At the moment the bowl is still in good condition and still looks nice.

I have used this soap before and like it. I also like the sandlewood sent, but this vanishes when you get about half way through using the soap. Not a fault of the manufacture, just that it takkes so long to get through a block of soap that the sent eveporates.Delivery times have been when the suplier stated, so no complaints there. I like this product and will keep on using it.
