Really good stuff. I have been on a mission to use safety razors just to have a nice quality razor instead of a cheap plastic thing. I have trialed many different blades and creams over the past couple of years and had settled on Poraso which does a good job but frankly I thought I got a better shave with any cream and my old twin blade excel. I thought this stuff too expensive but what a change. I now get a great shave every time and do not have to shave myself three times to get a decent shave. It has really made a massive difference. The poraso is good at the start but tends to get hard as you go through it and even at the start just does not do the same job. I now use this and Feather blades, but I think this would make any blade work.

Really good shaving soap but the smell is too persistent for me., 12 May 2017
I started using this a few days ago after using Wilkinson Sword shaving soap for many years. This is much better. The first time I used it I produced an embarrassment of foam, I'm just not used to my soap lathering up as easily as this. There are plenty of reviews to say why it's good but I'd better explain why I'm only giving it three. It's the smell. It is a really nice smell but, speaking as someone who doesn't use after shave and I use unscented deodorant, the smell is just too much. It would be ok if it faded after an hour or so but it is very persistent. I realise this is a very personal thing but, be warned. When this runs out I'll be looking for something similar but unscented.

exactly as the title says,I was really impressed with this after spending some time looking for a good cream to accompany my cutthroat type razor. used with a good brush this comes up a treat and smells lovely. It has really reduced the amount of times I have nicked my face.provides a good thick cushion of lubrication for the closest shave with ease. partner loves the smell too!
