I was sent these to try in return for an honest and unbiased review. Being a Grandpa this really wasn't my thing but, I have a granddaughter who I knew would love them. I agreed to review them and gave them to my granddaughter and this is her review.

I love the colours of this hair chalk, vibrant but not too out there. I think my favourite is the pink and my hair looked really cool streaked with this colour. I also tried duo combinations like pink and purple and green and purple and they looked great. I think the secret for me was to do narrow strands so it doesn't look too overdone but that's a matter of personal taste.

This is very easy to apply, simply put a little wax onto the strands of hair you want coloured and put the hair between the chalk and the little foam pad, close it up and streak it down the hair and hey presto a beautiful colour will materialise. It's quite long lasting and mine lasted until I washed it out.

Works on my brown hair *Vivid Bright Colours *, 14 Oct. 2015

These non - toxic colourful temporary hair colours arrived in a neat looking little box that was see-through at the front. They were green, blue, purple and pink. I was weary at first and thought that the colour wouldn't show up on my hair as my hair is quite dark but to my pleasant surprise it did. It washed out too which was a relief :-) I didn't read the instructions and got a bit carried away while doing my hair. It is recommended to wear gloves but I didn't and it washed off my hands easily. I took the sponge off the holder and rubbed it onto the colour and then rubbed it over my hair. I guess it gives the same result. I would suggest using a slightly bigger makeup sponge if you have one. If you want a really vivid colour I would use loads of it and use a seperate sponge because the little piece of sponge that is supplied on the lid of the colour is so tiny. The colours are bright, vivid and really stand out. I think like most of these colours - the lighter your hair the better...

Disclaimer. This item was sent to me for my own opinion.Item arrived on time. Comes in a 4 pack color ,green blue, purple, pink. Application is simple, rub the powder with two to three strokes on the lock of hair to be colored. Using hairspray after application will stiffen the powder to allow it to last longer. With a simple wash of the hair powder is easily removable.Colors can be mixed to form different colors, a powdery substance, soft to the touch, is totally harmless to skin, will last in the hair for about 8 hours, slightly longer when hairspray is added.Great for color application around hollow en time, can also be used for fancy dress, or party's. Easy to store away when not using, just pop the lid closed to keep powder dry fro moisture, as it may harden. An easy way to have some fun.
