I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband who seems obsessed with shaving lately (must be after Movember :-)) It looks like a solid quality item. Seems quite small but I presume that is the size it should be and was described correctly. The stainless steel bowl came wrapped in tissue paper with the same skull design and placed in a lovely gift box. It looks expensive and is a nice gift to give a man who likes to pamper himself. Would be useful to those men that travel as it could easily fit in your toiletry bag.Update 16/10/2015 (my hubby still uses it and it is brilliant)

This product is a high quality shaving bowl, it has a fair weight to it and looks very good.My only criticism is that it is on the small side, I had expected at least an additional 50% in size, not to sure how it stands up to making a decent lather with such a small space (i am using a medium brush). However I will be finding out today and update if necessary.
