This is quite a "vicious" tool. When used with care it is very effective but I think it would be very easy to scratch your nails if you were not being careful.

yet another great product ,even if your only doing your own nails this cuticle pusher is realy good its great for removing cuticle ,better than a hoofer stick or orange stick ,and you only need one tool instead of two a great product..

For fab nails... but use with caution, 6 Nov. 2012

I bought this after watching the way therapists use them when having a professional manicure and wanted to do my manicures at home. It is particularly good for removing the skin from the nail plate (the cuticle at the bottom is not the only skin - a layer gets pulled up along the whole nail, which can leave the finish of your manicure uneven).I have tried this and simply rub in some moisturiser or Vaseline to my nails (seems to work as good as professional cuticle removing gel and far cheaper). Wait for 10 minutes, then gently rub up and down the nail with the pusher until the thin layer of skin is removed. Nails are left sparkling clean and smooth.Just be very careful that you do this gently or you could damage the nail. Et voila! Lovely smooth, clean nails! If in doubt, have a professional manicure first to see how they do it.
