Useful Tips

  • Warm the wraps between your palms to relax the wraps.
  • Always prep your nails by wiping the nails with nail varnish remover to remove grease and dirt.
  • and apply chosen base coat and let dry completely before application so the wraps can adhere even better.
  • You can prolong the look by applying 2-3 coats of UV Gel topcoat.
  • You can trim and cut the wraps with scissors and blades to resize and reshape.

Fabulous, my 2nd set, 27 May 2016
I purchased these in a different colour and video'd how to use them, I loved them so much I had to get another at a discounted price from the seller in exchange for my review.I have no hesitation in saying that these are easy to put on, then you file them around. I prefer to use a base coat, then apply these, then add a top coat, I feel they last longer and I have had my last lot on for well over a week.People do remark on them and I say exactly where I purchased them from.High rate for me this is my second lot, I love the designs and I may even buy a third set.

A very classy product with a good finish, 2 Jun. 2016

I bought these for my prom as they match the golden sides of my dress. I was very impressed with the product - it is very classy. This is reflected in the packaging which is very pretty and matches the nail wraps inside. The packaging has instructions on the back which clearly tell you how to apply the nail wraps. The instructions include small illustrations that show you what to do - these are very helpful. There is also a tutorial on their website that shows you how to apply them has more information about their products.

Applying them is very easy. Firstly it tells you that for the best results, you must clean and buff your nails first and also warm the wraps using your hands. You peel of the cover then select the size that suits each nail. Then you lift the nail wrap off the silver tab and apply it to the nail and smooth it until it is wrinkle free. There will be some wrap left so all you have to do is file it down using a downwards motion only to ensure it...

A perfect solution with an odd ruined gel nail :), 28 May 2016

I tend to have gel nails in the summer time and I find they last me a minimum of a fortnight. However I do find I do chip the ends of an odd nail of my gel polish especially when cooking and washing up. I hate nail varnish unless its perfect so I find myself removing my gel nails earlier then I really should.

When I saw these Thimbs Up Nails I was so pleased and was happy to try them for the odd chipped nail rather then the whole hand.

They arrived promptly and with very clear step by step instructions. I was worried about getting these nails on as I have never been a creative person and frankly I am utterly useless at applying make up or even painting my own nails neatly.

I was tempted to ask a friend to help but then thought I would give it a go; I can say I was so impressed !!

I found a suitably sized nail in the packet and removed the backing and just placed over my nail. A few smooth over rubs and then stretching of the nail was needed and then I was done...
