You get 23 brushes in all, the handles are wooden and painted a green colour. The brush part in made with soft synthetic hair and it is lovely and soft against your skin. The brushes that are designed for more detail work are firmer so they can do job designed for, the brush fibres are still soft.
I've brushed and pulled at the brushes and no hair came out.
They all come in a natural coloured wrap that that roll up and can be tied to secure.
The manufacturer has provided a list for brushes use - but obviously the choice is yours.
