I'm not going to lie, the idea of putting tiny punctures into my face to make me look younger was very appealing and yet very disturbing. I had visions of tiny blood puntures all over my face!

So after much trepidation I gave the Derma-Roller a try.

The Derma- Roller arrived in sealed packaging inside a box and then within a plastic container to keep the roller safe inside when not in use. The quality of the roller was better than expected and looked high quality. The needles are 0.5mm which is the same as used in Beauty Salons for your face (this treatment costs £250).

The barrel is covered in tiny needles, that are designed to pierce the skin which then stimulates the skin to repair itself. I began by gentle rolling back and forth along the face, it felt prickly but not painful. I did this for 5 minutes only on my first attempt just to get used to the product as my skin is very dry and sensitive. The process is very much like aerating the lawn. I kept...

I have real problems with my skin. I have had tablets, creams and gels prescribed to prevent spots. Since using the roller I haven't used any of these prescriptions and my skin looks great! It feels plumper too. Would recommend to anyone!!
