I have to trim my Peke's nose ridge and was looking for sharp scissors that wouldn't frighten her to death and also were safe to use. These fill the bill. I also use them to trim her feet so job done.

These scissors arrived promptly and are truly brilliant. Our 9 month old puppy has fast growing hair, but wriggles a lot when being groomed, so these scissors seem less dangerous than pointed ones and cut gently without pulling.Would definitely recommend them.

Worked great with the cat!, 15 July 2012
Trying to remove the mats that sometimes occur in my long haired cat can be challenging. Now that he is a little older there are a few places he has trouble grooming as well as he used to do. Since he has never had matting problems it is an ordeal to get him to accept grooming. Occasionally, for those mats that can't be easily combed out the safest way is to cut them out. I wanted small scissors with rounded ends for safer usage. These fit the bill perfectly. They are easy to use and comfortable to handle. Although they could be just a bit sturdier and sharper, I still found them to be the perfect size for my purpose and I didn't have to worry about possible injury to me or the cat.
