Very disappointed in this perfume, after spraying it on within one hour the perfume smell has disappeared. I have bought tom ford perfume, black orchid from a high street department store and it has been superb. The quality of the velvet orchid is not the same. Wont be buying perfume through amazon again.

I don't believe this product is genuine, the smell doesn't last and having just brought a genuine bottle from a respected chain, then I am sure this is a fake.

I have been searching for my new signature perfume and went into a store over the course of a quite a few weeks, trying each carefully and taking my time to see how the perfume set on me. I finally chose the Tom Ford Velvet Orchid as it smelt beautiful on me and lasted for hours after I tested it. I ordered the 100ml spray through Amazon and have been using it for the last couple of days. However, the smell does not last long more than half an hour, the smell is almost the same but does not quite have the punch the one had in the store, almost as if it had been watered down. I suppose I will have to continue my search for my signature perfume now and spend more money - I feel upset as I did not buy on a whim and spent a lot of time and money on this product which just did not measure up to Tom Ford's good name.
