Matt spray so much more suited to textured styles, 15 May 2015

I like to have a messy / spiky look that I style with putty or clay, but I also like to fix it with some spray after styling, especially on a long day. I instantly loved the concept of this spray, as it's not a fine mist - completely unsuited to those kinds of style - but rather a matt, textured spray, hence the 'sea salt'. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it is *so* much better than fine hair sprays for holding messy or textured looks.Instead of simply casting a lacquered gloss over your hair, it actually adds to the body and fullness of the textured style, holding it very firmly, but retaining a bit of 'give' and preventing it from looking too artificial. It dries matt and not sticky, and also has a nice 'barbershop' aroma to it that adds to the pro quality feel.Great to have something more appropriate to fix after the clay-putty routine at last - can highly recommend it for other spiky-messy-bedhead stylers!

Adds texture and volume to my fine hair, 24 April 2015

I have very fine hair, so it is difficult to find products to style my hair that aren't too heavy but still give some hold. This sea salt spray was really good, though, and - just like its name suggests - left my hair feeling like I had been on holiday and been swimming in the sea.I have tried using the spray in a variety of ways (on dry hair, on wet hair and allowing it to dry naturally, on wet hair and using a hairdryer) and I find that spraying it on my hair when it is damp and then immediately blowdrying it really works well. It gives my hair more texture and the feeling that it is thicker. I found using it on my hair when my hair was already dry left my hair looking a little stringy.I still have to use a little styling wax or clay to give my hair some additional hold, but as a 'base layer' this spray is very useful for adding a bit of volume to fine hair.

Great for those whose hair grows in seven different directions, 16 May 2015

I like Tony & Guy products - the conditioner and shampoo are now repeat purchases in our household. Expensive but worth the extra.

This spray is aimed at men of course, although I think anyone with short to medium length hair will benefit. In my case I may be past my 'best before' date but I still have a decent amount of hair, trouble is it resembles "Every Which Way AND Loose" at the best of times. Fine, floppy and just annoying as combing makes no difference at all. So this Sea Salt Spray is great - it enables me to position my hair just the way I want it, it stays that way pretty much all day, it has a very faint but pleasant aroma and even after application with the fingers (as is recommended) my hands feel dry and non-sticky afterwards, with no apparent need to wash them - even though I usually do.

I can't comment on the maker's claim about the given 'loose movement' as my hair is currently very short but what I can say is that for short hair it gives just...
