Good Styling And Hold, 30 April 2015

I'm always finding it difficult to get hold of the right hair product, usually the consistency and hold are the main factors when deciding which product to go for. The consistency of this fibre is exactly as expected, it's not as hard as a wax and I'd say slightly softer but it offers many of the same attributes.

I always put product into my hair when it's slightly damp, doing it when the hair is dry just doesn't work for me. This fibre works quite well allowing me to style as I want and the hold is pretty good compared to other products that I've used in the past.

One thing I will say is that it can be slightly difficult to wash out depending on how much you use, some days I might over do it and then find that after I've washed my hair it still has that feeling of product being left in. Another negative is that it can leave white bits in your hair if you're not very thorough with rubbing the product between your hands and spreading through the hair...

This is the best styling product ever if you want the matt finish look, and good hold, lasts all day, washes out easily, always use it, recommend it highly.

Solid hair styling wax, 26 April 2015
This is a waxy and nearly solid hair styling product, with pretty much the texture of shoe polish, but pure white. You scrape some out of the tin, rub it between your hands, and rub it into your hair. You will have to experiment to find out how much to use, and you will have to clean it out of your fingernails, too.Once on, it does indeed let you style your hair easily, and the end result is matte and natural looking. It seemed to work best on slightly damp hair. Why it is called "fibre" I have no idea. There isn't any fibre in it. Thankfully, it is almost unperfumed. The main ingredients are water, petroleum jelly (petrolatum) and beeswax. This is the sort of thing you would have got a hundred years ago as pomade or moustache wax, and you might like the idea of using a traditional product, and taking a little longer than you would if you used a styling gel.
