Huge Barrel for huge soft curls !!!!, 27 Sept. 2015

Very impressive Tongs or so I am told.

Being a little on the bald side my other half agreed to be a guinea pig and try these.

First thing, coming up to temp was really fast. Seemed about 15 seconds from swich on to being ready.

Cord was the usual 360 degree rotating option, controls were simple and easy to use.

However the main thing was wrapping the damp hair and clamping it for the big wavy hair effect and this seemed remarkabe easy for someone watching (me !). It seemed to take very little time at all until she had done all her hair and gave it a gentle brus through to get huge soft waves.

I DON'T imagine it would work for anyone looking to have tight curls or spirals.

The only downside is one I often feel is never thought through very well and that is the cord's never seem to be long enough !!! This seems to be about 1.5-2m at a guess but I often think that the last thing you want to do is crouch down near a wall outlet. You'd ideally want to...

Excellent Jumbo Tongues from Toni & Guy, 19 Oct. 2015

Toni & Guy have produced an excellent product in these jumbo Tongues. These are too large for me to handle on my own hair because it is shortish so I asked my daughter to try them for me. She has used them on her long curly hair with magnificent results. My daughter worked for many years as a professional hair dressers so she knows her products. She said that these are very easy to use and has tried them on a couple of settings preferring to use a lower temperature for best results. The shine it left was really nice the tongues gripped well the results on her hair look amazing. She recommends them because they produce lovely curls and are obviously good for the hair because it leaves the hair looking healthy. The tongues are top class and would find a place in a good salon. They are highly recommended an excellent product at a n excellent price.

Plug sockets never seem to be near to where you want your dressing table. Then again, they never seem to be where the aerial socket is, or your phone socket. And who wants extension leads all over the place? It's something that Toni & Guy have realised and have included a near 10 feet length of cord in this pair of curling tongs.

Whilst that isn't the only positive to these tongs, it might be an important point of interest to any potential buyers. No madam. Alongside that generous cord that even lets me wander around to a certain extent, the tongs itself are rather substantial and look like they'll last quite a while. The spring on the flipper is taut to give a good grip, but don't forget to release your hair, or you might hear from downstairs, “Why are you screaming?”
