Hair Braid steps:
1) Take a piece of hair from top of head and feed it into the first two loops of Shang Du.

2) Take a piece of hair from one side, and cross it over top of Shang Du and feed it into the next loop.

3) Take a piece of hair from other side of head and cross it over the Shang Du and feed it into the next loop down on the Shang Du.

4) Continue down the head filling each loop of the Shang Du with even pieces of hair from alternating sides of the head.

This is really simple to use and gives perfect results. I have tried the foam donut type things in the past and could never get them to stay in. I need to wear my hair in a bun for work, and it can be difficult to get it all tucked in neatly, with these it is not a problem. I don't even need a pile of hair grips to keep it in place.These seem to be comprised of two slap-bands wrapped in material. They are really lightweight and it is easy to forget you are wearing it. I don't know how long they will last as they do feel quite flimsy but so far I am happy with them and the results they give.***Please note: I received this item at a discount in return for an honest review. Ideal for people like me who can't French plait. Tried this on daughters hair, looks great, found it a bit difficult holding it up to start but once started this was ok. Not sure I could do this on my own hair trying to feel where the best bit of hair goes. But ideal doing it on others.
