This product adds an amazing amount of extra power to your weak fingers and is a joy to use after those nail clippers with only about 2 cms of leverage.

Waste of extra money, 8 Nov. 2015
I've now had these over a month and have given them a fair trial They are not worth the price. I bought them because with old age I now have arthritic fingers and I hoped these would give me a better grip when trimming my fingernails. They do not. The "extension" handle is actually rather slippery and does not help at all when cutting fingernails. On top of that, the actual blades are not at all well engineered and never give a positive "snip" in use. Years ago - *many* years - I had a pair of Wilkinson Sword nail clippers and they were the best of the best. Precise cutting as the blades had obviously been ground with some care to do the job they were meant to do.Whilst I would not go so far as to say the Tweezerman blades would have trouble cutting through the skin on a rice pudding, I fear they would most certainly baulk at a thick custard skin. Not recommended.p.s. Does anyone know of any really good/perfect fingernail clippers?

Cuts cleanly and with a 'click', unlike cheaper nail clippers where you have to really squeeze the lever to make the cut.The long handle makes the clippers much easier to hold in position with your non-dominant hand too.
