There are 10 brushes in total and these are made of very high quality material that's fit for purpose. They have a very high end, classy luxurious look and the materials in question here are synthetic fiber hair (white-y-grey end brushes), aluminium ferrule (gold coloured grip area) and wood (white handle).

So these brushes are beautiful looking and soft, and have a great variety of styles and uses i never realised existed!!
I'm new to fancy brushes so this is a really good STARTING point for myself, yes like other reviews I did have a handle fall off in the first use as the handles on the large brushes seem abit loose, this was as a dissapointment for about 5 mins until it was fixed again and all is well, but for the variety and usages so far I've had from these are great. They say face and eye brushes, rather than suited to eye shadow as such they are quite chunky ( in a good way) and are are perfect for adding concealer, contouring and maybe a million other uses. For the price £11.99 I think was worth it to test the varieties if you are new to brushes and worried about what to yse what for and concerned about the cost of expensive brushes. A gorgeous set of ten super-soft, professional-quality make-up brushes housed in such a pretty box that it feels like you are giving yourself a present. This set is also ideal to give as a gift and I can't think of anyone I know who would not be delighted to receive it.
The box makes a great first impression: a lovely dark purplish-blue sprinkled with golden "stars" and encircled by a printed white bow, protected by a disposable white cardboard sleeve. The inner box slides out like a drawer by means of a loop of golden ribbon. Ten brushes of various sizes are ranged inside, each protected by a clear plastic sleeve.
