The Honeycomb sponge (Hyppospongia communis) is very soft, absorbent and durable. It is the most luxurious and well known of all the natural sea sponges. At 6 to 6 1/2 inches, this is the largest of the honeycomb sponges in our soft honeycomb range. From the side or bottom these sponges look like Swiss cheese or a honeycomb and the surface of the sponge contains thousands of soft fibrous fingers which excel at washing and cleaning. These sponges are easy to clean and they are comparatively fast to dry between uses.
