It is good in that it stays put like it says it does which is what I wanted especially on waterline. It smudges slightly on application but not too much and may just be me. The tip is odd as hard and looks like it requires twisting to reveal more pencil but it needs to be sharpened which it required before first use and I had to be careful as noticed the end had a rough chip of wood which could have hurt my eye.
