Not for the faint hearted!, 13 May 2016

Having used a different wonderful Vita Liberata tan which is out of stock I decided to give this a go. Oh my days, it comes out chocolate brown, dries almost immediately, sinks into any patch of dry skin - and is unforgiving. I was alarmed at the immediate colour, way darker than St Tropez. I washed it off after two hours (instructions say leave for 1:3 hours), my shower water turned brown and I was left with a very, very light but not imperceivable 'glow'. Note to self: exfoliate like a mad woman before reapplying, leave on for longer, perhaps mix with a small amount of moisturiser to give a more even coverage. Not sure if I would buy again.Ok, update: a week later and a few more careful applications using rubber gloves and super speedy rub in, I like this stuff!! It doesn't leave a dark colour once washed off, even after leaving on for 3+ hours but it's great for a pale skinned girl like myself, leaves a light tan. I actually would buy this again....

I would give this a 1. Except that it gives an even result. It takes a long time to develop, gives only a faint tan and doesn't wear at all day. Had I not had another vita liberata product which was excellent I wouldn't t have bought it. Wish I could remember which one that was as they have a baffling array of products.
