It's Vaseline Petroleum Jelly and it has a multitude of uses, I bought it to help insert ...well that's another story but I used it to insert a Brewing air trap into the lid of a brewing bucket to ensure a proper seal but I'm sure I will find many other uses for it and every household should have a jar. It's been around since before I was born and I'm retired, it's never really had any serious competitors because it's a quality product.Highly Recommended.

Vaseline - a great jelly, 4 Jan. 2014
Great product with many uses - you can use it to moisturise your skin or help it heal. It can be used a lubrication for mechanical parts and I even used a to start camp-fires (just put some Vaseline on a cotton ball and use it as tinder). About as versatile a product as they come. No reason not to have this.

Big tub of Vaseline / Petroleum Jelly, 26 April 2013
250ml doesn't sound like all that much until you see it and then you realise this is actually a pretty big tub of Vaseline / Petroleum Jelly.The only negative I have (and the reason it gets four stars and not five) is that the lid doesn't close as firmly/positively as I would have liked.
