Veet Oriental Wax

I've been using this wax for a few years and would definitely recommend it.

The wax can be heated in the microwave or on the hob. I've used both methods and both work fine. Give it a stir after heating to mix hot and cooler wax from the heating process. It takes less time to heat as the jar empties so be warned it will be too hot and runny if you heat half the jar for the full time. If you find it cools down whilst you're using it, stand it in a bowl of hot water. I haven't had any problems with the wax not working after reheating several times.

The spatula is shaped, apparently for applying to different areas. It works fine although I think the 'hot' indicator is a bit cautious. The wax gets much harder to spread evenly as it cools and an even thin layer is best so I probably use it hotter than it recommends to start with. Yes it does drip when it's hot if you have too much on the spatula.

I love the fact it washes off...

Ok first of all my account says woman but i am a man, well i used to be.

Being cool and dangerous i ignored the safety precautions and instructions. They said do not apply to genital areas. If only i had know that before starting the process. Being a man who finds shaving a chore and messy and usually ending up cutting my self i tried a different approach to de-foretizing the jungle.

I purchased these hoping that they would do a brilliant job and keep me smooth for 4 weeks (as it says). I had never waxed in my life before so i asked some of my mates what it feels like, does it hurt, is it bad for you etc they all said it was fine, painless. Those liars. They thought it would be a funny joke to let me go ahead and proceed with removing my man hood.

I was in the bathroom ready to start the process of removing the "donkeys fur". I warmed the wax up in the microwave. But i warmed it for too long. IT WAS SEARING HOT AND I APPLIED IT TO MY BOLLOCKS...

This is good - but you need to have a good technique to realise its full potential, 4 Jan. 2014

.What's good about using wax as opposed to shaving, is that in general when the hair regrows, the hair after a number of repeated waxing becomes `softer' and unlike using a blade you do not get that horrible bristle action that is both irritating and itchy. It's a good suitable process to use and if get the right technique then you can almost replicate salon/spa results. For best and most effective results its best to follow the instructions, especially the heating process. If this is your first try at waxing - always try a small area first and go for straightforward areas such as the arms or legs before attempting underarms or other sensitive areas. That said this product is really good for work on those areas that difficult to use strip waxing or the dreaded razor blade.A good product that does its job, just work on technique and follow the instructions..
