I had never heard of this product line before and with the cheap price must admit I had some reservations about it and didn't really expect much. The great reviews persuaded me to give it a go, and I am so glad I did because it is excellent and worthy of comparison to high end and much more expensive primer type products.It describes itself as smoothing and illuminating and that is indeed the effect I see when after I have put my foundation on. It is quite glittery and pink once pumped out of the bottle, but on the skin this disappears to form a really good primer for make up. With base and then powder applied, the overall effect of my skin is a nice balance between matte and dewy - just right.And make up stays in place all day. Highly recommended. For those wondering if this is ok for mature skin - I am 45 and it is excellent.

This is my 2nd bottle of Verona makeup base, i also purchased anather primer/ makeup base but don't think much of it, this is the one for me!! Makes my skin look great after I've put serum & moisturiser on then the makeup base! Lovely long lasting makeup & also good for makeup free days aswell. Subsequently I've just re-ordered my 3rd bottle. ?.

AMAZING product. I am getting older, the skin is looking particulary naff and a bit of makeup needs to go a looooooong way. This bas is light, easy to apply and makes a HUGE difference. LOVE it!
