The best I have used- some well thought out features, 2 Nov. 2015

I really like this curling wand. I have not tried some of the market favourites, such as the Remington Pearl, but compared to others I have owned in the past, this works quickly and effectively and the curls hold well.

A bonus of this wand is that there is no clip on it, to help hold the hair in place, which means that the hair is curled without any ridges or awkward kinks. This does, however, mean that you do need to hold the hair in place with your fingers which is of course a little more risky with a heated device, so ensure you are careful. Vidal Sassoon have thought ahead with this, and provide a heatproof glove which it is advisable to wear whilst styling, in case you accidentally touch the heated part of the wand (the tip remains cool, which is a useful safety feature). The wand reaches 200 degrees, so this is an important part of kit. ..This is very much my daughters’ review.This Vidal Sassoon Easy Wrap Wand curling wand is wonderful. It is much easier than it looks and I found it easier than an older style with a clamp curling wands. All you have to do is simply wrap a 2-4cm section of hair around it and hold for about 5 seconds. My hair has natural curl and this is easy to adjust the curl to the shape that you want. You need to be a bit careful, however, and practice to not to burn your fingers - but is easy to quickly get the hang of it. The curls are even still apparent the next day although they are more like waves rather than curls then. Once you turn it on it heats up very fast and the heat setting that all your hair tools should reach. Its ceramic plated so it gives my hair a shine after I use it.I would recommend it for straight or curly hair..

By nature I have long fairly dry hair which is either wavy or frizzy depending on the weather, my daughter has been nagging me to curl my hair 'properly' for a while now, however I have always been loathe to do so because of the drying properties of heated...
