I feel a little cheeky writing a review on these, as they were given to me for Christmas this year, so I feel ever so slightly rude giving them a critical analysis.

First things first, if you're expecting GHD quality, then you can get lost. With such a little price tag, it's clear that even the manufactures didn't have much faith in their product, having said that, they aren't the worst straighteners I've used. I have very thick, frizzy, damaged hair, so it takes a heck of a lot to impress me in terms of hair stylers, and unfortunately, these did not 'wow' me.

Pros:

- The changeable heat setting is a great feature that is extremely helpful for different sections of my hair

- The styler itself looks extremely modern and expensive

- A toggle for 'extra shine' is great, however I see no difference whether the shine setting is on or off, but maybe that's a personal thing.

Cons:

- The buttons feel EXTREMELY cheap, you have to press...

I bought this as a birthday present for my friend- who really wanted a hair straightener. This product had been recommended to me by a hairdresser and I had high expectations of it; and I was more than satisfied with the product! The delivery was fast and the product was very well packaged and ready to wrap. The straightener itself is brilliant: my friend and I both love it as it gives the hair a nice shine (though not over the top) and can also be used to curl hair. As the heat and other settings can be changed, it is optimal for the hair and doesn't damage as much as other straighteners- though all straighteners damage hair in one way or another. I would definitely recommend this to any girl with long hair that might be difficult to straighten!
