I have curled my eyelashes for a good few years now, previously using a pair of tweezerman curlers (fab but expensive) so I thought I would give these ones a go as previous reviews have raved about them.
However, they don't really fit with my eye shape - which is fair enough but it meant they basically didn't curl my eyelashes except post-mascara. But even then they didn't really curl, as for me the shape of the curler doesn't 'grab' the lashes from the base meaning you 'lose' about half the length of your eyelashes as the curler fails to get close enough.
I think if you have lashes that point down naturally (mine are awful) then these curlers are unlikely to make a difference.
The packet recommends heating the curlers up slightly with a hairdryer to achieve a better curl but I've tried this before and succeeded only in nearly burning myself as the metal surrounding gets super hot! Eyelash curlers are already pretty dangerous things to have around the delicate eye area...
