I am rather partial to creams or potions that contain coconut, so was quite keen to try out this Amara Organics Vitamin C Cream.

The cream arrived in a nice package and I liked the design of the bottle and the pump action. The rate of dispensing I felt was well controlled by the pump design and the rectangular opening through which the cream is dispensed. I like the fact that the seller followed up the sale with instructions on how to get the best effect from using the cream - the instructions were easy to follow. Very nice touch.

The cream itself feels silky to the touch, and my skin actually absorbs it well, easily and smoothly. It doesn't feel heavy at all. My facial skin is perhaps just a tad on the dry side, and the cream certainly gives my skin a healthy, hydrated look. Having tried some of their other products, I've become a fan of Amara Organics as I've found their skincare range very high quality and was eager to see what this vitamin C face cream would be like. I use their retinol cream at night and have definitely seen an improvement in my skin tone and as I've heard a lot of good reports about Coconut Oil and have already found jojoba oil to be beneficial I thought that the combination would be a good moisturizer. The fact that it contains only plant-based ingredients with no parabens and is cruelty-free makes it even more appealing.

It comes in a small pump-action container and although it only has 50ml I've found that this will last a long time as you only need to use a small amount. The label has a clear list of ingredients and instructions for using the product, as does the box it comes in. This is a high quality product, made from natural organic ingredients which is very good for skin. It is not only moisturising but it contains antioxidants. In addition to the Vitamin C (5%) it also contains some other impressive ingredients such as Vitamin B5, Cocoa Butter, Beeswax, Lavender, Calendula, Chamomile, Aloe Vera and a range of Oil based ingredients including Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sunflower Oil, Tamanu Oil, Borage, Oil, Flax Seed Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Rose Hip Oil and Grapeseed Oil.

This cream arrived packaged in a white plastic pump dispenser bottle. The cream is white in colour and is of a thick consistency. You can really smell the Cocoa Butter in this product.
