Great palette for creating a smokey eye look without breaking the bank!, 25 Oct. 2016
I bought this palette as a dupe for one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes and was pleasantly surprised! The colours are well pigmented and give a decent amount of coverage (I did not expect this for the price!) and the brush end of the applicator allows you to get a much neater cut-crease when sculpting your eye. The colours themselves are a mixture of matte and shimmer shadows, which layer well and blend together nicely, so this is a great palette for anyone wanting to create a smokey eye look without breaking the bank!

Great value nude palette, 25 May 2017
Many people argue this is a dupe for some far more expensive nude makeup palettes. If you look online there are some pictures showing the similarity of the pigments and there is a lot of likeness. The palette does offer a great range of shades predominantly for warm tones but it works well for both.I find it takes a lot of work to build up a decent shade if you want a darker colour but doesn't fall out too much and once applied stays on well. Especially if applied wet.Overall great value for the price.

the value is pretty astounding. I would not say it could act ..., 11 Jun. 2017

For a £4.20 (what I paid) eye shadow palette, the value is pretty astounding. I would not say it could act as a dupe for the Naked palettes - whilst the colours are similar at first glance, the pigment and the quality simply do not stand up. It takes a lot of building up to achieve strong colour, and there is also quite a bit of fallout when applying; don't buy this expected great quality eye shadow that blends well. In particular, the paler colours are not very pigmented, and blending colours tends to result in a sort-of muddy mess, which I think I can attribute to the quality of the eye shadow rather than my poor blending skills.

That said, for someone who does not use eye shadow much and typically only uses one shade at a time, this is more than enough for my purposes. The colour range is wide enough to experiment with, and I like some of the shades enough that £4.20 is very cheap. I would recommend this to a beginner to make-up who wants to experiment with different colours,...
