If you have a cartridge type razor then this is not for you. There is a negative review of this product on this page which is rather unfair given that this product is accurately described.I bought this to use with my Merkur 1904 DE razor. It is a good fit and is exactly as pictured.

Just enough clearance to hold a brush or blade, no weight on it so you have to be careful when you lift things off it or it will topple. But yeah, very happy with the little thing.
