My go to hairdye range, 9 Sept. 2015

Ok, so I confess - I have been home colouring my hair! I know its not the best thing to do, especially going from a dark brown to light blonde, but with the help of Wella Welloxon (rubbish name) at 12% (or 40 vol. if you prefer) I manage to get there easily.

You must use this product with a colourant, and its recommended for use with the Wella Koleston range (which, yes, I use too).

As I said earlier I am naturally a dark brown (with bits of grey) and an applicaiton of this combined with the Koleston Perfect colour in their 12/--range (Special Blondes) which lifts colour as well as this product will bring me easily to a nice clean blonde.

I usually leave the mixture on for around 50 minutes, maybe more depending on how old the product is!

The really important point to note is that whilst the wella range is maybe more expensive in comparison to some unbranded i.e. "ion"/sally's own products it is far superior.
