This was smaller than I expected, with the main cutting head being just an inch or so wide.

I charged it overnight and shaved my head with it in the morning - no problem with that but it does take a bit longer than with my old shaver, because of the aforementioned width. It was actually a bit handier to shave round my ears because of the narrowness. The detailer is almost unnecessary unless you're planning on shaving curse words into your scalp.

I didn't use the guides as I keep my head shaved and don't have a beard right now, but they seem fine. They go on and off easy and look like every other guide I've used. The actual shaving heads require a bit of a knack to put on, though they come off good and easy. When putting them on put the tab in first and kinda rotate the head back into place. Don't try to drop it on all at once. It's a doddle once you figure it out.

NICE LOOKING QUALITY PIECE OF KIT - BUT USELESS " BEWARE ! ", 7 May 2015

Looks a great quality trimmers in a pretty little bag .Few attatchments / comb / oil / mains charge / cleaning brush / stand .A bargain for £20 So I thought ? Having had this a few weeks it's clear it's garbage . Charge it for about 12 hours . Turn it on and the motor starts to whimpering for about 5 minutes before it kicks in . It struggles with 5 days stubble . After 15 minutes it is nearly drained of all power . For a Wahl product this is a real disappointment . So I will purchase a Wahl cheaper model which conked out after 5 years use . Which I replaced with this rubbish . This is a waste of time & space . Wouldn't even trim my girlfriends pompom hairThanks amazon SaulAfter using it twice the problems started . Not much power at all managed to trim my stubble ok but left a few small patches . Very dissatisfied with this . The £13 Wahl I bought 5 years ago which I replaced with this was a lot better .

cheap build qaulity, 30 May 2015

Disappointed when I received this to find that because of the cheap build quality your unable to charge it as when you try the charging pin just pushes the entire way in. Then it doesn't even let you order a replacement so if you want to give it another chance you have to send it back then wait for your refund then reorder then wait to receive it again.
