Good fast styling, 7 Sept. 2009

I seem to get through a lot of hot air brushes - I hope this one lasts as it is quick and straightforward to use. The brushes click off and on easily so I can leave one in cooling whilst I move onto another section of hair. I think it is excellent value for money and have nothing negative to say about it at all.

I bought this brush to get big curls - I'd previously used the Revlon Big Curl - it was great, but alas it died recently after many years service.I was a bit disappointed at first with the Walh because it didn't give me the big sleek curls I was looking for. It's true it does blow your hair around too much on full power. However, it has grown on me as a substitute for using a hairdryer and round brush, as it gives soft curls and body and is easier to use because you have a hand free. People have commented that my hair looks nice, after I've used it, so perhaps that's the best endorsement!It's not for sleek and glam but definately for body and soft curls/flicks - which stay in all day - even on my fine hair!

Air Stylers and I have been through a lot! I cannot do the whole brush and hair dryer thing as hairdressers do, so for years I was wishing they'd make a hair dryer with a brush attachment. Then one day I decided to search for one on Amazon and there turned up a few options! Eureka! This is the one I bought for the simple reason that it seemed to be OK and reasonably priced. I used it rather happily, mostly with the big barrel (as the little plastic buttony thing fell off after a few weeks and it became a pain to change brushes) for about 6 months when I left it in Italy, on holiday. Next I decided to purchase the Babyliss Pro model ( I felt silly buying the same item again, might as well experiment) and this is when I realised how good this model actually was. The Wahl air styler:

1) Is more powerful: hair is drier faster (though the best thing is to either let the hair dry naturally or using the the normal hair dryer to 99% and quickly go over with the air styler to...
