I have used a variety of clippers over the years with varying results. These are by far the best clippers I have ever owned.They have a solid well constructed body and a powerful motor you feel kick in as soon as you switch it on but it is not noisy or over vibrating. The quality of the blades is excellent and give a real "down to the wood" cut in seconds.To think this is only a tenner or so more than your bog standard models from BaByliss, Remington etc. there is simply no comparison.An excellent, salon performance piece of equipment - buy it.

I thought my previous clipper was great.This one blows it out of the water. It's impossible to get closer shave without a razor. Quality of the product especially for the price which is ridiculous considering the performance. People mentioned cuts. All I've experienced on my first shave was the blades getting stuck on my skin in two places on my head so I had to back out and angle the clippers slightly differently to go over them bits.The blades never cut through my skin which isn't that thick at all. I'm only 29. Since than I've used it 3 more times. No trouble whatsoever. It cuts so close that it leaves you with (extremely) gentle razor shave like stinging feeling. If there is anything to complain about is the weight. It's heavy for the type of product but that only makes it feel more quality. Nevertheless if you shave your own head without any assistance it might be tiring. Because of it's lawnmower like performance it never takes too long to do the job though. I imagine they would...

Having tried numerous clippers, these are really "the one". Pleasure to use, cut extremely close, but not as if fully shaved by razor (just how I like it, 1-1.5 days growth from razor shave), and because they are mains powered there is no power loss. No cuts, no bruises, keep them regularly oiled, and forget about your haircut quality for ever. These do the job perfectly... Very happy customer...
