Great product. Relatively quiet, while very efficient. The cord length is great too.The free trimmer however is very noisy and not as good quality as the clipper (operates with an AA battery). Very happy with it over all.I accidentally ordered two and having issues getting my refund for the returned unopened item.

The Wahl Clipper is as you would expect, a really good quality product. The trimmer isn't quite up to the same standard but it was a nice freebie to get.

GREAT PRODUCT - WAHL SUPER TAPER 8467-840 (UK VERSION), 1 Jan. 2016

Okay, Wahl is supposed to be a good product and it certainly lived up to expectations.

Having used an "el cheapo" set previously, i can certainly say that the Wahl Super Taper Clippers (Wahl Part Number: 8467-840) are a cut above the "other unknown brands" (pardon the pun!). I'm only reviewing the Clipper, not the Trimmer!

Mainly, due to the power of the motor a comparison shows that moving through longish, thick hair is a breeze, whilst other just jam - and that hurts!! Speed of the complete operation is quick as it IS powerful enough to move at a good pace.

The plastic combs: well, put in perspective, they do look a bit "chinese" which they probably are, but unless you're the terminator, you'll hardly break them!

In use: the vibration that el cheapos have is unbearable, Wahl seem to have that problem well under control and I could have shaved another ten heads without my hand going numb, whereas I've had to stop several times during ONE...
