Wahl 1/2 mm comb, 11 Mar. 2012

I do my own hair cutting - principally because I have relatively little of it! I bought a Wahl clipper years ago on the recommendation of my barber and usually use the no1 comb. I just tried this and I am very impressed. Nice close cut, and very neat appearance. The retailer was good and delivery was quick.

Why does a Wahl attachment not properly fit a Wahl trimmer?, 4 Nov. 2013

I should have taken note of other reviews. The item as delivered does not properly fit the trimmer! After filing this and that down it worked ok. I just can't understand why a bespoke attachment needs modification!

Needs adjustment, 28 Feb. 2013

I'd read comments from others regarding the comb's loose fit and they're true. The comb has four lugs on the inside face which need to be pared off with a sharp knife so that the comb can sit flush with the trimmer head. Additionally, it's a very loose fit on the trimmer and the only way I've found to ensure it stays secure whilst in use is to fix it to the trimmer with insulating tape. Once these adjustments are made it gives a good cut!
