These are cheap, but only go to 200C. I found them just not hot enough to do my fringe, despite never really using the maximum temperature on most straighteners with temp control.After going over each section several times, they eventually produce kind-of-acceptable results but it just takes way longer than it should.If you have fine hair, these might work much better for you. Otherwise, I found the babyliss 15mm plate straighteners far superior, and not much more expensive.If you're desperate for really fine plates, the FHI platform straightener is almost identical but goes to 230C, and performs much better (though it is quite a bit more expensive).I also found the plastic around the plates on these gets far too hot, and burn my forehead!

Great price and great product. great for short hair that needs/wants a bit of styling. Heat up in no time and small, lightweight so great for traveling with. would recommend.

They are brilliant.I had my hair cut really short and needed to get some new slim straightners and came across these on sale wasn't sure they would be any good because how cheap they were.But they are brilliant and heat up quick and I will buy them again if I need to replace them
