Tweezers with Pink handles Not a toy,, 14 Sept. 2010

How can you describe tweezers, they either tweeze or they don't and these do.

I have given this 5 stars for everything but Amazon were asking how many stars for this TOY. It is not a toy.

Well here goes:

They are nearly six and a half inches long. The handles at the widest part are a smidgeon under a half inch, they are moderate to light in weight but they feel quite substantial in the hand.

The Pink part is made of a plastic or similar flexible material which is to my delight has a degree of non-slip about it also I have not tried it yet but looks as if it could stand being trod on.

If I hold the tweezers in my right hand and pull with my left hand it does not slide out easily as a metal pair would.

The Pink part is moulded in one piece with I suppose the metal parts fitted well in it's ends, I can't feel where the metal part ends.

Just over one inch of the metal ends are open to view.

These tweezers are not that good for crafting they do not close properly and have to be held right at the bottom to work would have returned but packaging had already been binned before I got to use them. would not recommend

Excellent pair of tweezers for using to make jewellery and for picking up small beads that are difficult to handle. They are probably good for paper crafts too. I am very pleased with them. I love the bright colour as it makes them easy to find in the hobby box. Safety advice: If small children are around, make sure that you supervise them, when using this item, and put the small plastic nozzle thing back onto the tips of the tweezer, when not in use as it is definately not a toy, more of a tool.
