These bags are exactly what you expect when you order them!The size can be difficult to imagine, they seem to be made to imperial size as the are 4.5 x 6.5 inches - however there is a little variation in the size 166-9mm x 118-120mm in the ones I measured (that's about a quarter inch variation to you imperialists).The ribbons are between 20 and 30 mm from the top (an inch), so the space below the ribbon would fit a piece of card 115 x 135mm (4 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches) - with a bit of wiggle room to get it in and out, if that's what you wanted to do with it.

Great size for ATC cards/gift tags, 28 Sept. 2015

These are brilliant, I ordered one lot of 50 bags in this size 12 x 17cm and was really worried they were going to be the wrong size after reading some of the reviews, well! I am very glad to say they are spot on. I have used the ones I bought to put 6 ATC gift tags in them and they have ribbon on as well. They fit in easily and I can tie the drawstrings closed. I did have to bend the ribbon down so it didn't stand straight up as it was too long but they look great, I am thrilled to have found these. I have just ordered another 4 sets of 50 of these. They are pure white, not off white in colour.I have added a photograph.

I am so disappointed with this item, 3 Sept. 2015

I am so disappointed with this item. These bags are nowhere near the stated size, more like 5cm x 7cm. They took a long time to arrive, so long that I was beginning to wonder if I had actually placed the order. Now I have them I do not know what I could use them for other than to maybe place a single chocolate in them because not much else will fit. I will not be ordering from this company again!!
