Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 razor with 13 blade refills - not just for men!, 17 April 2017

The Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Razor with 13 Blade Refills is a very good value pack which, as a female, I have found to provide a much closer shave than any female specific products I have used! (Side-note – when I mentioned this discovery to some of my female friends they also agreed that they had found men’s razors to be better than the female equivalent. Interesting we had not discussed this before and what was news to me appears to be something already known “out there”, though why that should be the case is a question for another day!)

The razor handle has a good grip and is easy to manoeuvre across my legs and underarms. I have sensitive skin and use an appropriate gel when shaving so between it, and the Hydro 5 blades and its lubricating reservoir, I have had no skin irritation or cuts, just a consistently smooth shave. I really like the Hydro 5, I've been using this make for a couple of years now, and this 13 cartridge pack (including one blade on the free razor) is a great way to stock up.There are three basic features that distinguish this razor. First, it uses five blades per cartridge for a good and thorough close shave; second, there is a generous surface area for the gel reservoir, promising smoother, safer, coverage; and there's a flip-back ridge at the top that allows you to trim and shape any hard to reach areas.I think it performs very well. You get a consistently close shave, one that's kind to sensitive skin, and I particularly like the flip-back option when I want to be especially thorough.In my experience each blade lasts about a fortnight, so this pack should last you quite a while, and you'll be getting some high quality shaves.
