I've owned one of these for around 5 years now, and I love it. I only ever cut myself when I'm in a hurry, the shave is very close, leaves me with a very smooth face! The razor's body is constructed out of metal, unlike many of the plastic Gillette's which feel like toys compared to this. I have tried a five blade razor before, and I felt it was a step backwards from four blades, the shave was not as close and the razor head was large and awkward. I have not however tried a three blade so I cannot make any comparison to that.

But I only have one quibble with the Quattro, and it is a minor one which I can, and have for the last 5 years overlooked, the blades tend to get blocked up a bit faster than other razors, but by the time they are blocked up beyond use, the blades are also blunt and the strip is used.

I have not tried the titanium coated version of the razor heads they now sell, I may try them in the future, but the regular blades are certainly great! A 5...

Very good razor and more reasonably priced than Gillette's range. Comparison to the Gillete Fusion ProGlide Power with Flexball., 11 Sept. 2015

Closer shave than the Mach3 and probably as good as the Gillette Fusion ProGlide. The

With the Quattro or the ProGlide Power with Flexball I still need to shave twice to get a close shave (once with the grain and then a second time against) and there are still odd areas where it seems impossible to get a perfectly close shave. The

is more comfortable to hold as it is a bit more chunky than the non-power
