Good lipstick, 2 Feb. 2014
This is the first lipstick with more natural ingredients that I have tried and I'm very impressed with it. It is a matt, cream texture - no shimmer, shine or sparkly bits. It has the same intensity of colour and is as long-lasting as any of the mainstream brands, if not more so than many (and I've tried most of them!). The colour is exactly as represented in the picture. It has no noticeable taste and it's good to know you're not swallowing or absorbing many nasty chemicals. If I have a criticism, it is that personally I find it slightly on the dry side. I tend to use a natural lip salve (I like Badger lip balm sticks the best) either under or over it, which, as well as being useful to dilute and vary the colour depending on how strong you want it to be, also adds a slight sheen. The price is reasonable and compares well with other brands. I'll certainly be trying more colours in this range.

Not coral shade but nice lippie!, 23 Jun. 2014

I am a fan of BWC lipsticks as they are one of the very few brands I am able to wear that don't dry or irritate my lips, or taste perfumey or chemically - yuck!! I dread to think how much money I have wasted over the years on lipsticks that I have ended up binning because I simply can't wear them . BWC lipsticks moisturise like a balm, have no noticeable taste or scent, and stay on the lips quite well. The packaging is quite nice too, minimalist and modern, but with a stylish abstract design incorporating the BWC swan logo. I like that fact that it's a neat tube which is not too big to fit into jeans pockets (I am never without a lippie in my pocket), rather than one of those chunky square containers which seem to be the fashion right now for lipstick packaging

However, I would not call this shade coral! It is more of a pinky red, definitely darker than coral, but still flattering. It would work for anyone who wants a red that is quite muted rather than in-your-face bright. It...

Was pleased to find an organic lipstick after learning about all the toxins our liver has to deal with,a nice lipstick which lasts and a fair price too.
