Shade - Belle of the Ball

I have long been a fan of BWC lipsticks, however, the only gripe with them for me is that many of them (especially the lighter shades), have a silvery frost which just looks harsh, cheap and unflattering on me. So I was really pleased when I discovered that they had brought out an on - trend matte range - yay!!

As I tend to wear more natural shades for everyday, I first got "Belle of the Ball", which in the photo appeared to be a pink similar in shade to my own lip colour. It is a very pretty, subtle light pink on my lips, neither too warm or too cool a shade. It has something of a vintage 1960's look to it, so would work well if you are rocking a retro '60's look with black feline liner flicks and big lashes. I would, however, describe it as more creamy and semi - matte in consistency as it does have a slight sheen to it, rather than the traditional powdery finish of many matte lipsticks. It has the same old -school creamy, waxy feel...
