I am very pleased indeed with these: they're a modest triumph of design. They fit comfortably against the scalp and hold well. I have quite thick, very long, straight hair. When it's braided and coiled on top of my head, one of these - inserted from centre back - keeps it all securely in place. As the photo shows, the clamps are quite light, so they seem less likely than most to spring out of the hand (and less likely to break when they bounce!), but these are so neat and practical, I do not want to risk being without them: I shall be ordering spares! I agree with another happy customer: it would be nice to have these in "tortoiseshell" (and other colours, including white), too.

This items arrived promptly and were well-packaged. I bought these as I thought they'd be an interesting alternative to the butterfly clips I wear every now and then. I am very pleased with my purchase. I like the fact that they look safe and substantial enough to wear in my curly hair ie they'll contain it and won't catch on it, though I haven't worn them out and about as yet.

Used to have these when I was younger but couldn't find them anywhere. So glad I found them. They hold my thick long hair very effectively, no slipping, and because of the shape there are no spike bits stabbing in my scalp.I wasn't expecting much tension for the price but they are really strong.Very pleased.
