Operation:

This was my first derma roller and I assumed the needles were titanium (even though it doesn't specifically state that), just because there are a lot of companies selling these online and as titanium are recommended, I thought this would be the same in order to remain competitive.
Anyway, moving onto the review...
I decided to use the 1.0mm on my face, predominantly for sagging skin, enlarged pores and acne scaring, and the 1.5mm on my thighs and buttocks to help with stretchmarks. I didn't use any anaesthetic as have a reasonably high pain threshold and I didn't feel any actual pain from either roller - rather, a bit of soreness for a few hours afterwards (similar to sunburn). However, I did find that even though I was using moderate pressure, the rollers did not appear to penetrate my skin at all and instead only really left a series of track marks despite careful rolling in the recommended directions (maximum 4 rolls in each direction). The trackmarks did fade...

It looks like a good kit but since I have never used one of these before it's hard to say whether it worked as a good derma roller should. Time will tell if there is any improvement with my skin.
There was some discomfort whilst using but nothing you or I can't handle. Especially if you've been through childbirth ha ha!
Presently I cannot fault the roller but I do have a few question marks which makes me feel doubtful
1. I read (after I purchased the roller kit) that you should only buy derma rollers with Titanium needles "This one has metal needles" Titanium needles are meant to penetrate or prick the skin more efficiently hence breaking down the skin so your skin can heal and produce more collagen. This leaves me with the question mark on whether this roller actually pricks the skin adequately enough as it should to get proper results?
2, Another negative to using metal needles is if you're someone who is allergic to metal jewellery you...
