I adore retro scents and my favourite is lily of the valley - but if I try to use cologne my dark and oily skin does something murky to it and it smells terrible, rancid and overpowering, barf! However the Yardley soap and this bodywash are fine, and such good quality that I'm addicted; the whole bathroom is perfumed with this very authentic scent - heady. I'm perfumed too - lasts a long time on the skin.Be aware that it isn't a shower 'gel' - it's a clear almost liquid product, but a little goes a long way so it's working out good value for the price.
